Shaun Belcher is an abstract painter interested in what De Kooning called the 'slipping glimpse' and part of a tradition that includes Hodgkin and Klee, Miro and Gorky.
He has published poetry and written songs and has more country records than most. Currently unemployable and doing a PhD in jazz record illustration and civil rights.
